I just want there damn phone number to the billing department..
I was in a car accident not just any car accident a very ugly one which who knows how long ill recover.Keep in mind I wanted to leave the hospital with a NECK BRACE so I can heal, because that is where I most feel A LOT of pain. Although my body feels sore my neck is where I wanted the pain to stop, but all they gave me was ibriprophin... I was in pain the entire time I feel tenderness, muscle weakness, and I know I have a broken neck. The RN didn't even check my neck the pain I was feeling the most I didn't even see a Medical Doctor. How does not a person who was just injured from a car accident not see a Doctor? Only a Rn what a joke I felt like I got NO sort of care here one bit don't waste your time coming here staff here is very uncaring about your well being which is disturbing to know don't come here!!!!
Doctors don't care about how much pain you're in when you're a chronic pain patient. They just tell you to tough it out and to go see your primary care physician. I had run out of my fentanyl patches a little early due to sweating them off in the summer heat and they were only able to give me a couple of different shots, but after the two shots (one dilaudid and one morphine) they didn't want to get into any legal trouble and therefore could not help me keep my pain under control long enough to get to my primary care physician. The staff have always been very nice to me, but it is very unfortunate that they have such strict rules about how much of which medications they can give you and how often. I was suffering so much and starting in on withdrawals, which is not recommended to go "cold turkey" off the fentanyl patches because of risk of death. I don't think they understand that I could have died at some stage during the withdrawal or that I could have committed suicide because the pain was so bad. I wish they really took patients like me more seriously than they do, but I also understand that their job and reputation are on the line. It is a catch 22.........damned if they do and damned if they don't. So while I understand both sides, it is very difficult when something like this happens to you and you aren't able to get in to see your primary care physician and all other avenues have been exhausted. I was so close to pulling the trigger yesterday, but finally found some relief after taking a Trazodone to be able to get some sleep, as I had only slept an hour the night before. I really wish they could better understand patients like myself, but instead they make you feel like a street junkie if you are asking to be kept comfortable enough until you can get in to see a doctor somewhere. Lastly, my pain management doctor is in Whittier, so it's not like I can just go see him on a whim like that and primary care physicians cannot write prescriptions for fentanyl patches anymore as it is used to treat severe and chronic pain for which a patient is usually already seeing a pain management specialist.
This hospital is terrible and wouldn't recomend anyone here my mom and brother got into a car accident and they would only want 1 person per patient and my mom wanted me with her the manager even told me to leave and the magager told me I'm bringing my family down and not helping them when I told them I'm taking my mom and brother to another hospital because you guys are not doing anything to them the magager said I can't take them because she said there in my hospital so they kicked me out they didn't even clean up all the blood from their body's as they said they were I DONT RECOMEND ANYONE HERE THEY ALMOST KILLED MY MOM AND BROTHER
I am amazed how they even have 3 stars by far the worst hospital in America took my little brother here when he had a minor fracture in his hand doctor told him he would have to have his hand broken more in order to put in place back together ? I immediately took him away from their hospital and to Valley childrens where they laughed at the doctors recommended procedure saying we should never go there again all they had to do was guess what ? Put a cast on it!!! Unbelievable ! He's completely okay and fully healed. This is only one of many instances that not only me but family and friends have said about their experiences. I wasn't going to comment but I'm afraid this hospital is having their Phoenix University degree Doctors fill up these reviews with complete nonsense please stay clear of this hospital cause they will actually do more harm than good.
